Pastries are her passion.

chef valeryChef Valery Abraham, born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, knew her gift and calling was to create foods that introduced people to her country’s flavor. In Petion-Ville, Haiti, she does so through her business, the pastry and catering company she started with a friend in 2008.

Her road back home began when she initially left Haiti to study her craft. After receiving associates degrees in both culinary arts and in pastry arts along with a bachelor’s degree in food service management from Johnson & Wales University in Miami, she interned at the Noja Hilton and worked as pastry chef at Miami’s renowned Hotel Sofitel.

Haiti called in 2004 and Chef Valery answered by returning home to become pastry chef one of her country’s most prestigious hotels, the Hotel Montana.

She is now delighted to present her creations to a wider audience.
