DESCRIPTION:As part of our Soft Diplomacy – School Visit initiative\, the Embassy will host Albion College\, a private liberal arts college located in Albion\, Michigan for a visit at the Embassy. Affiliated with the United Methodist Church\, it was founded in 1835 and was the first private college in Michigan to have a chapter of Phi Beta Kappa. \nThis educational initiative is designed to offer schools at all grade levels and universities an opportunity to re-discover Haiti and learn more about its rich history and culture through a presentation and guided tour of the renovated historic Chancery. The visits take different forms\, tailored to the dynamic\, grade level and curriculum of the group.
