Manje Lakay is a culinary program designed to offer the Washington community an opportunity to experience classic Haitian gastronomy and its influential roots from Haiti’s finest culinary professionals. Initiated by Ambassador Paul Altidor, the series is part of a larger Embassy strategy to promote Haiti and all it has to offer from its cuisine, art and everything in between.

This class will be taught by Celebrated Chef Neima Belancourt. Chef Neïma is passionate about cooking and creating new flavor combinations that will tantalize your taste buds. She’s committed to positioning Haitian food on the gourmet market map by teaching others how to pair Haitian food with wine. We truly believe you will enjoy her craft and we are honored to have her join us as part of this series.
