flag dayThe Embassy of Haiti in Washington D.C. in collaboration with the different Consular Missions of Haiti in the United States are pleased to inform the general public about the various activities of our National Flag Day celebration occurring across the U.S.

Each Year on May 18, we celebrate the creation of the Bicolor Blue and Red which came into being on May 18, 1803, in the town of Arcahaie. Haitians everywhere honor the history and heritage that the flag represents, reminding them of their patriotic duty of unity to move the nation forward.
