On Friday, October 18, 2013, His Excellency Ambassador Paul Altidor hosted The Wharton Club of D.C.: A Wharton Business School Alumni Association. One of the most active clubs in Wharton Global 91,000+ Alumni Network and a leader among Business School Clubs in the U.S.
The Ambassador and Mr. William Exantus, Minister Counselor and Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission, welcomed the members of the Business School Alumni Association to the Embassy for one of the club’s cultural and embassy programs.
The purpose of the briefing and reception was for the members to learn more about Haiti’s history, culture, and tourism. In addition, it provided an opportunity for business networking and a taste of the country’s cuisine.
The Ambassador delivered a strong and clear message about Haiti’s economic environment and business opportunities. Following his briefing members of the Club had the opportunity to ask questions ranging from the current status of the country to inquiries about visits and business opportunities in Haiti.
