Power of Attorney
A power of attorney allows a person (principal) to delegate certain powers of legal representation to any other person (mandatary) of his or her choice.
Any Haitian or person of Haitian origin wishing to appoint a person in Haiti to represent him or her as proxy must present to the Consular Section a valid passport accompanied by proof of Haitian nationality or origin. Proof could be a birth certificate or an expired passport. The principal must be able to provide the following information on the representative: surname(s) and first name(s); address and tax identification card (NIF) or passport number.
Mandat (procuration)
Un mandat ou procuration permet à une personne (mandant) de déléguer certains pouvoirs de représentation légale à toute autre personne (mandataire) de son choix.
Tout Haïtien ou personne d’origine haïtienne souhaitant mandater une personne se trouvant en Haïti pour la représenter en tant que mandataire doit présenter à la Section Consulaire un passeport en cours de validité accompagné d’une preuve de sa nationalité ou de son origine haïtienne. La preuve pourrait être un acte de naissance ou un passeport expiré. Le mandant doit être en mesure de fournir les informations suivantes sur le mandataire : Nom(s), et prénom(s) ; adresse et numéro de carte d’identification fiscale (NIF) ou de passeport.
Manda (Prokirasyon)
Yon manda oswa prokirasyon pèmèt yon moun delege kèk pouvwa bay nenpòt lòt moun li chwazi (mandatè) ki pou reprezante li legalman.
Nenpòt sitwayen ayisyen oubyen moun ki gen orijin ayisyen e ki vle mandate oswa delege yon moun ann Ayiti pou reprezante li kòm mandatè, dwe prezante bay Seksyon konsilè a yon paspò ki valid akonpaye ak prèv nasyonalite li oswa orijin ayisyen li. Prèv la ka yon batistè oswa yon paspò ki ekspire. Fòk moun ki bezwen manda a kapab bay enfòmasyon sou mandatè a: siyati li ak non li ; adrès ak nimewo kat idantifikasyon fiskal (NIF) oswa nimewo paspò li.
